Has anyone tried to update the CCC screen to the CIC HD screen?

Not the entire unit, just the HD screen. I'm curious to know has anyone tried this, or if you know without a shadow of a doubt why it won't work. No speculation, just facts, please. TIA.

It wont work, they have different plugs plus the CCC navi doesnt support the resulution the CIC screen requires.

The plug is inconsequential. Adapters can be made. Think VGA to DVI. I'm not using the stock navi anymore, anyway, so that's not an issue.
