Highest Mileage N20/N26 Powered Vehicles?

Please share with the group if you have achieved 100k + miles \ 160k + kilometers.

Any modifications worth note?

Any major repairs to speak of?

There's at least a few of us interested in pushing the limits of longevity on this motor and would like to hear some success stories. Appreciate your participation!

Saw that...

Its riddled with people rambling about their cars that have less than 100k.

No point in thousands of responses from low mileage owners. Its mind numbing to read through.

No one cares if you have 47k miles on your car and really want to keep it a long time (myself included).

People want to hear from others who have 150k miles on their vehicle and what it took to get it there.

Just my two cents, aint worth shit.

Although I posted recently on a couple of mileage-related threads, posting here as well since this thread has been resurrected.

My 2012 N20 has 115k miles on it with just routine maintenance thus far. A couple minor repairs had to be done such as splicing a chafed wire (?) supplying the headlight assembly that was causing a headlight malfunction, and replacing a hood latch release cable (covered under the new car warranty).

The engine currently has a VCG weep and a drivetrain malfunction (that magically disappeared) due to a slightly leaky turbo wastegate actuator. I don't plan on addressing either of these until they are closer to turning into actual problems. My current goal is to get to 150k miles, and perhaps 200k miles eventually.

Nice! This might be the highest N20 mileage I have seen. What major repair/replacements have you had to do to date?

2012 328i just turned 160,000 km. So far have replaced the entire steering column and that's pretty much it.

This is not my car this is a customers car only major repair we did was the turbo everything else is wear and tear items . Valve cover gasket , oil filter housing gasket , alternator etc

Edit : I forgot to mention one other major repair she had done was her intake valves got burned due to carbon build up on intake valves . You have to clean the intake valves cause direct injection cause severe carbon build up on the valves

The steering had been "notchy" for a while when the outdoor temperature went below freezing when I took it in for a wheel alignment. The SA then told me about a recall on the steering column and the whole thing was done for free, including the alignment. The part was about $5,000 or so. Funny thing is I had looked up my VIN for any recalls and never found anything,
