OT - Just curious, those are 18's right on your 2001? What is the usual reasoning for getting 18's on that M3 when the 19's look so much better like the current version? My rep at the local dealer stated it was nearly impossible to sell M3's with 18's?

the sedan's rear isn't as aggressive as the e92 m3's rear. And quite frankly, it's the lamest modern day ///M rear, z4 M looks better, m6, m5, m2,m1 lol.. they are all better! than the e90 m3 rear. Not to say its ugly, its good, but not as great as the rest |

Funny how the M3 looks narrrow next to that super wide body M racecar. So hot! Nice pics tho! I am sticking with my AW coupe,,, even though I don't think there is a bad color for this car.
I do agree, these m3s look really low. Maybe bc they are cornering? They do look modded.

Those pics are taken at the last part of the corkscrew which is a blind steep downhill roller coaster ride. Here is a video of that turn: |

Jet black is not so bad. I had a jet black 318i for 6 years and I loved the way that car looked in black. I agree the M3 looks better in Jerez - and in Australia they're not charging extra for metallic colours on the M3 coupe. So no reason to go Jet Black with the M3 at all. I still love the SSII though.

I feel like AW shows off the lines of the car the best. I love the contrast of the CF roof against the AW which makes it stand out, something you lose with JB and JZ. As far as the interior, I am torn between black and fr (no extended- too much red)....
p.s. thanks for the video totoro,, what an awesome turn that corkscrew!! I would LOVE to drive that track!!! Is it open to the public for a fee? Not like I will be driving my M3 to cali,,, but I would go and rent a viper for a day
