[SOLVED] Need help with these codes (INPA) please!!

Hi guys, my car's got these fault codes on, I don't know what to do, I may take it to an indy shop, but would rather do things myself.

Car's got ABS light on, DSC light on, EDC light on, Air bag light on (system restraint). Also fuel gauge is oscillating on turns and acceleration/braking situations.

Had a battery drain with engine running, with no warnings on the dash.

After full charging via tender, alternator was sometimes off (battery voltage only), sometimes above 15.0V.

Changed the voltage regulator, and battery charging fault warning throw right on engine startup. When revved to 2k RPM, warning is gone, alternator voltage turns 14.5V until engine's off. Every startup is that way.

Also, PDC's not working, Cornering Lights, and Bluetooth Telephone too, but I can live without them.

If you diagnosed an issue with the voltage regulator then consider replacing the alternator.

Others who tried just changing the voltage regulator ended up having to change the alternator. They didn't end up fixing their issue or saving any money in the end.

I hope it's not. I mean, how would it fail? If it's working, it puts tension/current out, if it's not, it doesn't.

But ok, you may be right.

Would it be good to check all the fuses?

If your charging at 15 volts then you're overcharging the battery which likely has damaged the battery possibly. I'd start with changing the alternator and see if the battery recovers from it. After that, clear the codes and see where it goes from there.

It was before changing the regulator. Now it charges at 14.5V.

Battery's good, holding charge perfectly well, and it's only 2 years old, AGM.

So your battery drained while the engine was running? This sounds like a classic faulty alternator. As these cars age the alternators have a higher chance of failure. For me, the bearing for the rotor cracked. This caused the alternator to work intermittently until the crack got worse then the alternator stopped working completely. Like said above, everyone said replace the whole unit but I didn't listen. I replaced just the regulator and it didn't fix the issue.

Edit: as a matter of fact take a look at the link posted above that's actually the thread I told my story in lol

Yes, engine running.

Yes, I know your story found it on the search.

I think that I may have caused the problem to get worse, by disconnecting the battery cable from the alternator and keeping the other little wire connected. That way, I may have caused some damage to the alternator excitation module inside. Don't know, I'm doing the research.

EDIT.: Why did I do that?
Because I knew regulator was keeping voltage above 15V, so I decided to do that to preserve the battery.

Reporting back.

Alternator's been replaced. Charging problem gone.

DSC and fuel level problems were solved after all ABS speed sensors replaced and...

...I found and repaired a wire harness entirely cut above the right rear wheel liner. Don't know how that happened.
