Just switched from RS4
Hi all,
I just made the switch from an RS4 and LOVE the car despite the DCT issues. Anyway, I am about to pick up my car after doing progman 31.1. Hopefully all is well. Cheers!!!

Thanks guys. I love this car. Fast, practical and a looker. Now I don't miss my 7GT3! Yehey!
I just uploaded progman 31.1 and my DCT is great. Before it didn't shift down to 3rd under heavy braking. Next is a intake mod, chip tune & exhaust. Dunno if Dinan's intake mod is worth $900?

Thank you Mr. Harris. I've read about the RPI's before but completely forgot about it!

You're spot on - I had a GMG exhaust & Gruppe M intake w/c made music. But like you said the M3 is more involving/fun to drive in the 'dry'!

welcome to the club!
some impressive list of cars you've had.. isn't anything pretty "boring" after 997 GT3 tho? GT3 makes my heart melt =)

Congrats. Both your previous RS4 and your current M3 are great. Just drive the car in MT and don't let the system downshift for you so there will be no lag/hesitation issue.

OTOH, my Dinan throttle bodies were good for only 4 hp and their chip lost me a little hp. Their spring set is super good and I love it, but all their engine parts have been a bust for me, and not cheap either. The only good thing about the chip is that it added 200 rpm to the redline and deleted the speed governor. What Dinan intake are you guys talking about? Dave

Oh, I see that they added an intake in the last week or two. See: http://www.dinancars.com/store/produ...cat=818&page=1
I blown enough bucks on Dinan. Will someone else buy and give us before and after dyno runs so that I just whether it's worth the bucks? Given that I already got 6 hp going to an oiled filter, I doubt that I'll spend the $800+ for a potential incremental 2 hp. Realize that all it's doing is dropping in a filter and replacing the short plastic connector with a short carbon fiber connector with slightly different capacity. Dave
