Can I run 225/245 on OEM 18" rims?
Winter is fast approaching and I am shopping around for a new winter tire set up since my current is pretty old. Currently I'm running 235/40R18 front and 255/40R18 rear Sottozeros on the 219M 18" OEM rims. I'm looking for the same size set up but having trouble finding it on Tirerack.
Currently looking at the Michelin Alpin PA4's and the closest I can run is 225's up front and 245's in the rear. Or, I can do 235's up front and 245's in the rear but it doesn't come wider than 245. What do you guys think is a better set up? Would it be ok to run 245's on a 9.5" rim?
