Doug Demuro Finally Reviews e92 M3
Doug Demuro reviews the e92 m3!!! I submitted my 2013 e92 m3 comp package (when it was stock) for him to do a review cause I'm in the San Diego area but he never responded. Either way he finally reviewed the e92 and its always cool seeing updated reviews of our cars so enjoy!

Did he not drive it? He's the biggest quirk of any vehicle he climbs into.... I don't get the draw to him...

I like Doug. He seems to be a genuine chill guy, and I wish him success, but he should spend just a bit more time researching his quirks and features. Or he's just blatantly making fun of some of the things in his video, IDK.
Maybe I'm too much of an fanboy and I shouldn't spend so much time on the throne but here we go. 1. Pre-2018 turn signals are totally fine to use and I actually prefer them to the "traditional" style since they stay in the same place which means I don't have to move my hand from the steering wheel as much. They have two positions. I use the first one a lot, meaning I can hold the stalk at the resistance for when I think the triple-blink turn signal is not enough (i.e. switching lanes on the highway). 2. Armrest. It's a split armrest, driver's side moves forward so you can comfortably rest your right elbow on it and still hold the steering wheel, e.g. on the highway. How difficult is that to find out really lol. 3. That HVAC cold/hot air slider thingy is the best feature ever! Use it all the time. Especially when it's colder outside so you set your climate control temp to warm and then get some fresh cold air if needed or vice versa. But I guess you don't appreciate these little things until you use the car for a longer period of time.

Ha! Finally. I emailed him about mine, too. Kinda glad I didn't get a response because he's not as gentle with cars as I am. Been waiting a long time to watch this, though

But with common cars it's usually meh, very shallow and lacks any kind of subject matter. Plus many are more like infomercials as he obviously returns dealer favors. |

Trunk quirk is when battery dies you can't get into the trunk to replace it. You can crawl through back seats if u left them down or you can put on a charger and try to get unlock to fire.
Love the exterior look on this car way more than Doug but agree with him interior is average. Cup holders, seat belt tender and rear arm rest are definite oddities. Also front center armrest should have been leather covered to match side bolsters one the cloth cars , would have been a nice touch that BMW missed. |

Maybe for Doug being in Cali, with supercars and etc being more common, the M3 isn't a head turner...but around here in the Northeast, my M3 has definitely turns heads everytime I drive it. Last edited by BeaterM3; 12-30-2019 at 03:21 PM.. |

He's out of his mind. He gave it a
6 for handling, 5 for comfort 4 for practicality. I would give 8-9 handling 7-8 comfort 8 practicality |

I didn't watch the whole vid. Just the first few mins then started to skip ahead every few mins expecting him to be in the car for majority of it. I never saw him behind the wheel.

I don’t understand fan girls following car reviewers’ every word, which seems to be 75% of Bimmer posts’ front page lately
Go drive one and trust your own opinion above all and especially before you take the advice of some clickbaitologist |

The quirks and features of this car are beneath the surface regarding how it drives and how the power, handling, all just melt together perfectly. Then there is the V8 with individual throttle bodies and how visceral it all feels. Thats the deal, its just not a numbers car, and has a very simple un-exciting interior
I had a feeling when i first looked at doug reviewing this car that wouldn't be a great review. Its a car greater than the sum of its parts, plus Doug isnt an expert on this platform, in fact he is quite an amateur. |

8-9 handling? is that relative to cars at the time or overall? What would you give an f80 m3 then? an m2? a current Porsche 911, a Cayman?

I wouldn't consider Doug to be a click-bait kind of guy. His videos are quite informative usually displaying a high degree of knowledge. As someone else said, his "best" videos are teaching us about cars that we will not only never own but will likely never see on the roads (Pagani Zonda, G63 6x6, etc). With that said, I find the opinion of someone who has driven such crazy cars to be quite interesting when discussing a $35k car that I like.
