The M3 is unbelievable in the snow. My mom has a Acura TL with winter tires and even though its FWD, My M is wayyy better in the snow . Its VERY well balanced!

Of course you can. I just bought my E90 with the explicit intent of winter driving her. My last winter car was an '09 E63 AMG, whose MSRP is 30% more, so I don't buy the "too valuable to winter drive" . All you need are proper snow tires. And with 470 ft-lbs and rwd, if that car could, obv so can an M While you are at it, maybe you should avoid any HPDE, since we all know wheels and paint take a beating. Also, avoid all red-line excursions, never threshold brake or drive the car in the rain. Anyway, it should be clear what my opinion on the matter is...
