I might actually..

Buy a house...

I was attempting to wait until I felt good enough to purchase after a few other things lined up and in the south. I am finding quite a few "smashing" (British Voice) deals in MD and while I dislike this state a lot these deals are decent for being up north in MD. I am from MD btw, anyways, what counties have the lowest property taxes and best roads to drive on?

For example, I think this is a great deal.

As a MD resident, I cannot wait until I can buy a house in another state and not claim residency in MD anymore. Too many stupid issues with the state. PA might be a better choice.

MD sucks. I bought in VA though, so it's not like I got my money's worth.
That's a decent home for $270k, but look where it is. I wouldn't want to live there. Also, it's priced higher than it's valuation in 2005-2006.

I have other options, but I mean I hate to have to drive from another state into MD to work.

Cant make up my damn mind.

Yes, very low inventory, and very desirable public schools. This is the cheapest neighborhood to get you into those schools.

if you can afford it, the ONLY reason not to buy a house is if you're going to move

One of my rules to buying was to not base it on where you currently work, but rather where you want to live. I bought as close to DC as I could comfortably afford, while still being in a great commuter location, regardless of where my next job is.

Well, wtf, I want nothing to do with the north past VA. LOL. I want to buy a house in those three states listed. I would like to buy up here and possibly if I leave the state go elsewhere and rent it out of course.
