Safety en route to and from the track -- RIP Sara Edge

A beautiful light in this world has gone out. It is with limitless sadness I must report that my dear fantastic client and close friend Sara Edge has died in a car accident on the street. Just on way home from work at AMP. Details sketchy, and I will not speculate. She’s gone, and I’m crushed, and her wonderful family is devastated. I’ve never known such a shocking, sudden tragedy in my life. Goodbye, Sara, I love you and am SO proud of you. When she flew into a corner on track, trailing smoothly off the brake, then went gently on the gas, “like a butterfly landing on a leaf” as I always say, then rolling it on smoothly to go roaring out of the turn just like a pro, it actually brought tears to my eyes! She had learned so much so well, and thanks to her beloved and respected Grandaddy Dexter and dad JD III, she had an amazing opportunity to pursue her passion. And I am so lucky to have been a part of it, to share so much track time w Sara and that wonderful Edge family.

Wow, I have been reading Randy's articles talking about her, and was excited to see her career grow as an example to my 2 daughters.
The world is a cruel place, and you can never let your guard down.
