Window One Touch Up Reset?

Car was recently at body shop to get some previous owner damage fixed and now the one touch up isn't working on both windows, one touch down is.

I've tried the method to reset the windows by numerous different methods but can't seem to find a combo that works.

Is there something e92 m3 specific that I'm missing?

if u dont have access to a good aftermarket scan/diagnostic tool to initialize the windows, take it into the dealer to get it done

How are you manually initializing them? Follow these steps:

Close doors, turn car on (engine running)
Hold window down for 20 seconds
Hold window up for 20 seconds
Restart car, the windows will be initialized

It this doesn't work then you can try using INPA or ISTA to initialize them.

Hi All,
I am from the UK and new owner of a 2008 E93 M3 loving the forum, so much good advice to be found😊

When I purchased my E93 one of the rear windows would not lower, I removed the trim then the regulator complete with the motor.

Rather than buy a complete new regulator / motor assembly I thought I would disassemble the motor, found it to be seized and full of water, after about an hour managed to clean it all up, re-lubricate and reassemble, worked great………….but!

It now jams when it reaches the end of its travel going downwards, I then have to remove the motor body to release the tension, then it works again?

Anybody know how to stop it jamming at the end of its travel please?

Thanks in advance,

Dave.
