Clutch feel changed and now is amazingly smooth (6MT)

Got my M3 about half a year ago so I guess you could say I'm still new to this tranny.

The tranny so far I would say is better/easier to drive under heavy load rather than slow and in traffic (daily).

It was pretty inconsistent, sometimes I would get a nice smooth shift and clutch release other times it would lurch (probably because I released too slow, the RPMs do drop very quick) and/or just not smooth (you can hear the clutch engage).

Just the other week BMW replaced my differential and now that I got the car back a few days later the shifts have suddenly became insanely smooth. I barely even feel the clutch grab it's so smooth. It feels almost like a dream, my shifts are faster because the clutch engages almost instantly.

Anyone else experience this? Am I just getting better at driving manual?

Maybe they also replaced the differential bushings.

Seems like a weird connection to make, but maybe the diff was transmitting NVH all the way through the cv joint, ujoint, flex disk, and into the transmission.

I remember changing the dif fluid on my 6mt 335 back in the day and that made a huge difference in shift feel.

Before the diff was replaced these butter smooth shifts were not often. Now it shifts like this 99% of the time. Not sure what else it could be. They replaced the entire differential assembly. Took like 2 weeks to ship from Germany.

They told me they replaced the entire diff assembly, it took a while to ship from Germany. I assume they replaced most related parts.

Shift feel or clutch engagement feel? The top end part of the clutch release has changed for me. It almost feels like the clutch does grab it instantly locks in. So smooth it's hard to explain.

It is probably what the culprit is then.

I love the new feeling, so easy to drive!

It was noisy. I would be on the highway and if I would depress the pedal at the slightest it would create like a humming/whining noise.

BMW replaced under warranty .. phew under a month left too. Good I caught it the noise was pretty annoying.
