I love NHL games, but the last one I got was 07 and I'm not sure how they are for the PS3.

i cant wait! ive been playing the EA series since 2001, havent missed any years. i have '08 for my 360 and love it, they really stepped it up over '07...i hope '09 is even better.

Best sports game in the past 2-3 years. Madden 09 looks promising but NHL has the easier playability.

i just got madden '09 a few days ago...seems a lot more strategic than playing nhl, but it is nowhere near as fun IMO

Always get the NHL series, not sure how much has changed from 08 to 09 though, playing an all player multiplayer game isnt a selling point to me. Anyone know how much the gameplay has changed/improved?

It is harder to score from shots, one thing that really annoys me is that you can poke the puck when the goalie covers it which results in a cheap goal. i know it happens in reality but here it seems to be happening a bit often.

Setting up plays for a nice one timer seem to be working a lot more effectively

I set my AI to the highest so if you do a play over and over again (say one timer), the D will cover the shooter more than the passer.

I find you definitely have to score in various ways, no 1 easy way of scoring unless you have a breakaway (which you score 9/10 times with a simple deke or wrister).

Anyone want to start a e90post league???

How do you customize controls for the PS3?? It has a feature, but I have no idea how to select my own buttons...
