I recently got my hands on a used oem GTS Lip, so i thought i could write a short Review of the Installation.

As expected, the build quality and fitment is perfect. I had it resprayed in satin black, because of a few small scratches, etc. from the previous owner.

Installation was a bit tricky because i haven't found any instructions or DIYs, but it's not too hard to figure out how to do it.
I had to test fit and cut the bumper a few times to make sure it clears all the brackets perfectly. (Both sides and the middle part)

All in all I'm glad I removed the performance Splitters and installed this beauty.

(Yes, the cover of the headlight washer broke and i am waiting for the new one to arrive)

Greetings from Austria

Thank you for sharing! I've been dragging my feet with installation of my kit. If you had to do it over again anything you'd do differently? Lessons learned?

Wow that lip is perfect, but wouldn't expect anything less for the $$$. Thanks for sharing, love it!

Nothing special, all in all it's straightforward.

The only thing i would recommend is to cut out enough from the bumper.
The brackets need a little more space than i first thought.

For the brace that holds the lower splitter, i've just bolted on the brackets with the screw that goes through the air ducts and installed the middle part, before drilling the holes for the rivets.

Sorry for my bad english, I hope you know what I mean

Looks great! I ordered and installed mine (upper only) and love how it really finishes off the front end. Next up paint and install the OEM Euro bumper that took only 4 months to get here. LOL

Your E92 M is a great example. Classic combo done well!

Nice! Mine has held up really well, its too bad these aren't readily available anymore. Only way I'd get rid of mine is if I went OEM GT4 front lip.

Does the upper lip utilize the mounting brackets too, or is that only if you use the lower splitter in conjunction?

It's just for the lower portion. The upper is screwed into the bumper itself with 3M mounting tape.

Yeah, it fits the car perfectly. Much better than any aftermarket lip imo.
Thank you!

Aren't they available at IND? But really expensive when bought new.
Yes, a GT4 lip would be awesome!

^This. But I only screwed mine. I left the old 3m tape on there, so it doesn't rub on the bumper.

I think they only have RKP but they may still be able to get OEM. RKP is a fine alternative. I believe Alpha N has an option as well.

OEM GT4 I found on Turner's site but it's close to double what I paid for the OEM GTS.

That price is just bonkers. Especially for something that is so easily damaged/destroyed.

So that price is for a RKP? Damn what does the oem one cost?

That GT4 lip is expensive.. but i think i still prefer the look of the GTS lip.

That sucks. I think it's almost impossible to rip off the oem lip.
