Sweet cars you have! I'm curious about the E34. How was it to own?

I rarely see these cars around, but I've always had a soft spot for E34's!

Great car. My only gripe is with the steering box, which always had a little too much play. A symptom that could have been avoided with a proper (standard bmw) steering rack. Even after adjusting it wasn't tight enough. Obviously comparing to an E90 is totally unfair.

The S38 is really something though!

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Question I need some help with. Get home from work around 5 and I go in the garage hours later and the car is making a high pitch electrical buzz. It happens every 22 seconds. I've heard it a few other times before tonight.

Figure it worth posting about. Only found this single thread, with zero responses, describing the same thing. He included a video. Mine is making the exact same noise.

New tires! Obviously a huge improvement over the miss-matched worn out tires they replaced.

Michelin PS4S
245/265

Went with OEM sizes after a lot of internal debate. Glad I did. Car feels amazing, with tons of new confidence.

Hey guys,

Any advice for a P0156F code? My scan tool isn't giving me a specific reading.

Symptoms included: limp mode, DSC light and yellow brake light.

I was at the gas station filling up, turned on the car and was greeted with the above lights. Just rolled 65k miles for what it's worth.

Help!

Was this a question or a suggestion?

O2 sensors are intact.

FYI -

Had a friend run the code at his shop, came back as an exhaust leak. I cleared the code per his advice. No issues all week. Seems like it could be a fluke for now. I'll inspect everything unclose if the code comes back.

I sense that its time to sell this beast. I just got another ticket... apparently can't keep my cool owning this car.

Get in touch if you're serious. This is a really special car and she needs to go to a good home.

Damn already??! Whats next?

Also that was one of the other reasons I sold my DCT car, I was driving it way too aggressive all the time! Because it was too easy to do it haha

Hi buddy!

Feels like I just picked her up, I know. The truth is that I have a two year old and a new baby. I don't have space in my life for a car like this. I barely drive it and when I do I speed like crazy. Every inch of the car is made to encourage you to drive like hell. Gets me every time. I transform into a teenager when Im behind the wheel.

No plans for whats next. Im open to ideas - Slow cars only please.
