Nanoskin Autoscrub instead of clay

I did a quick test on my hood over the weekend to decontaminate my paint with the Nanoskin Autoscrub Fine grade combined with recommended dilution of Nanoskin Glide. If you guys are looking for an alternative to clay, this thing is very impressive. I did the entire hood in a matter of minutes on setting 1 of my Griots's 6" orbital. The results were amazing. The hood feels slick like glass now. I'm all in on this thing now. Don't hesitate if you've thought about it.

Yeah, I tried this a few years ago and was very impressed. I'm not sure I can say it works better than clay, but it is immensely easier.

how do you guys keep it storage? if I keep it against anything other than a towel on top of the rubber side, it sticks to anything, so I have 2 nanoskins and I just place rubber to rubber sides together even though its like gum taking them apart

Remember to polish after you use nanoskin... they mar the surface and will require finishing.

Also, the nanoskin only removes surface contaminants stuck in the paint on the surface level. Unlike clay, it won't remove things like iron stuck in the paint. You'll need to follow up with an iron remover to get to those.

As for storage, i keep my nanskin mitt in the original plastic clamshell it came in.

Mine doesn't seem sticky at all. I just keep it in a plastic container with my other pads...black part facing up.

I'm doing full paint correction this weekend, however I didn't notice any marring after doing it. My paint is Silverstone II Metallic, so it could be masking it.

I keep mine in a closed container without anything touching it. I always get the same problem sticking to anything it touches, and it destroys the pad or mitt.
How do you guys clean your clay pads? I've take pressure washers to them but not sure if there's a better way.
