I'm also waiting for a track day review......since I'm "shopping" for a similar setup.... but I am leaning towards spending a bit more $$$ and getting the CCW setup with 9.5" front and 10.0 or larger rears.......ideally I would love to have 275 fronts and 315 rears...if it will fit without fender mods & I don't know if it will.....

http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AW8&...ires/index.jsp R1 is an excellent track tire. Performance is competitive with Hoosier R6, and durability seems to be better for most people.

When I looked last week, the only parts Dinan listed for the E92 is the set of wheels. No other suspension or drive-train parts. So, apparently you don't need camber plates because they don't offer camber plates for you to need. At least, not yet.

a 9.5 or 10 inch wheel will fit under the front - but it will stick out a bit. the rear stock wheel fits in the front but looks a bit silly. since I planned to run a 265 all the way around there was no need for me to go to a wider/heavier tire.

I will revive this ancient thread to ask a relevant question: what hot pressures did you run with the BFGs last year on the track with your setup? Thanks.

37 to 43 hot. BFG has a nice 5 or 6 page PDF will all kinds of info on the tires including temps to look for. i think you can link it from the tire rack site. if you can find it let me know.

This thread is over 3 years old and haven't seen the OP around in a while. There are plenty other threads in the forum discussing this topic.
