How much did you paid for your individual paint?
A lot of people out there got individual colors, I wonder how much they paid and if this is negotiable with the dealer.

The answer to your question is simple, it is not negotiable. Some people may have paid "invoice pricing" for individual. But MSRP for individual paint is $5k.
/end thread. no need for pole. no one paid $2k or even $3k for Ind. paint

I guess they need a junk color palette for their cars so Individual can exist. I like all of the individual colors better than the 'regular' ones I have seen so far. The main thing here is that I'm NOT bitter about not having a standard red like Hellrot.

So could you get invoice pricing on the car with MSRP for the paint?

You should be able to get invoice pricing for the car plus invoicing pricing for the paint + $500-$1000, if you can't get a deal like that where you live, there are people on this board who can help you.

It helps to think of it as $4450, because metallic paint costs $550 anyway!

You need to focus your poll on the US market.
Individual or special edition costs are quite different overseas. In the UK there are several tiers of paint costs for example from $1000 and up. For the US ( as far as I know) it is $5000 (or $4550 invoice) for individual paint if BMWNA allows it for your car.

That is for individual paint but I don't know if the OP was thinking about special paint like a standard 3 series color that is not available in the M3 how much it would be?

Put it this way... if the exterior color that you want is not on BMWUSA M3 "Build Your Own" section then it is $5000.
