From a completed production, what I've noticed is

2 weeks waiting at the dock (Port of Exit)
2 weeks or less travel time to Port of Arrival
1 week or less (Vehicle Prep and sent to your dealer)

That puts you in early January. It all depends though, has your been waiting at the docks already?

Good luck!

Nope I check my vin # at the load ship page and it is not there. Hopefully it will reach the dock soon. The build date on my vin was 11/20/12 and it could be waiting to be move to the docks. I will just have to wait and check it out in mid December.

My ship appears to be docking in NJ tonight.. car then goes to VDC Right? then gets truck to dealer which is in NY . then they PDI it ...

do you think it is reasonable to expect that I can take delivery of it friday, dec 7th??

the SA has to drive it out to meet me at porsche about 50 miles from his home dealership

yea friday is a good estimate , may happen sooner, if it docks tonight i'd estimate that it gets removed within a day from the ship perhaps a day and a half so let us say friday afternoon/night at the latest it reaches VDC and it should take perhaps 2-3 days for inspection ( i am guessing there shouldn't be any backup as your boat maybe the first since sandy or second), trucking shouldn't be an issue if there is no backup, if things go by clock your dealer can get the car as early as wednesday...maybe earlier...i've heard of cars spending 1-3 days at VDC...since emissions was already passed in summer.

I can't really get it before the friday because of work... tons of hours mon-thurs plus a 2+ hr commute each way. and I cant just like hope i make it to the dealer cause like i mentioned its a courtesy delivery so the SA has to get all the paperwork setup, then get a delivery coordinator to follow him so he can drive my car out from westchester to edison, NJ so we can do delivery at porsche.. .

so it needs to be planned ahead

Awesome. Not much longer. I think I'm gonna go visit mine in a few mins. I wish the British vehicle license agency would hurry up and mail my paperwork and tax disc so I can drive the darn car tomorrow.

Oh snap. They put it on the red carpet and put a gay ass bow on it. Lol. I hope I can stick it in the garage tomorrow. It's suppose to snow on Saturday, and I would hate to drive it in the snow first time out.

Hey I don't mind the gay bow as long I get to drive it home!!! As soon as you step on the gas the bow will fly off it.

Is it DCT? Don't you just pull back on both paddles?

there's no Park in DCT like a normal automatic. I think it's just letting you know car may roll if not turned off given an incline. Maybe pull handbrake and it solve the warning. When you shut the car off it technically will go into Park.

Would that be your wife or the car?

Not sure about why it's bitching at you, but, it automatically goes to park (P) when you turn off the engine. You don't move any levers or push any buttons to get to park. There is a way to keep it in neutral with the engine off. That's so it can go through a car wash.
To avoid surprises at the wrong time, I suggest a tour of the the manual. With a DCT and Nav, the thing is very complicated and some things are a lot different than what you may be used to.

Haha. The car is tucked away sleeping.

I looked through the manual. I think there were a few things I did wrong. I walked to open the garage door manually (yes manually, I'm in England) while the key was in my pocket. I don't think I had the door closed all the way and my seatbelt on when I put it in drive, so it kept reverting to N and a message to put it in P to prevent the car from rolling kept popping on my idrive with a car and opposing arrows on the dash.
