Buy it and install a new fuel system, up the boost to say 10 or 11 psi and you'll get about 700 whp with a ton of torque. Of course you may have to do a transmission upgrade too!!..

Would you separate the engine and sell it alone?

So it's fast as hell.... what about the handling? Did the coilovers do the trick? I suspect that much power on a vert needs reinforced suspension mods :0 Would love to see it. I am local :0 How many miles are on the car?

Nope, sorry. The cost to do so would be too much. Unless you'll pay top dollar.

Tranny has new electronics at 52,000 miles as old ones died. Replaced by BMW. Engine rebuild at 58,000 miles (spun bearing so did a full stage 3 rebuild and stroked it, installed turbo system) current has 12,000 miles plus

can you tell me more about the new electronics for the tranny?
is this a normal thing to go bad?
My gfs DCT has been acting up for a while, jumping gears on deceleration and sometimes only using a few of the gears and showing the faulty transmission code, we assumed the transmission was near its end, but I always wondered if it could be a tune/electronic thing since it seems to drive fine when no rapid deceleration or aggressive driving
due to recent events with my car we have been unable to take it in to get checked yet since I need it for work.

I was driving and stopped at a red light when the engine stalled. Transmission was stuck in first gear so I could not even try to restart it. Best I could do is direct cars around me while I waited for a tow truck. For whatever reason it reset itself and I could put it in neutral and push it off the road into a gas station across the street. After a half hour it restarted.
Took it to ACM and told them the issue. They finally recreated the issue only to find out they could no longer restart the car either! They shipped it to the local BMW. I rented a car and went home.
The main electrical unit died. the "brains" of it all. There were two electrical units BMW replaced. One was a module and cost $450. The other was the transmission motherboard and cost $4,500. At first BMW wasn't sure if the was a simple short in one of the wires so they checked each wire one-by-one, which took all week. They wanted to check the wiring first because the parts are so expensive. Then they replaced the module which didn't fix the issue. They finally had to order the motherboard (mechatronics?) from Germany, which was the last one available on hand there at the time (the next one would be available in 6 weeks). So, after 5 weeks of checking wires and finally installing the parts the car was ready to go. Total was $7,500 not counting car rental and travel.
Hope your issues are simpler then my were!

Wow that sucks, this one seems different hopefully it's a software thing only.

Check for any leaks. My dct did the same exact things you speak of and I found a leak on both pans. Refilled with tranny fluid before I fixed the leak and everything was great. I had to add 7 quarts to it.

It did have a leak, actually most the oil was gone, refilled/repaired, but problem is still there.
if they are related that might mean the tranny gears are screwed.
