Use big-boy words, "ppl" is toddler talk. I'm not criticizing it, I think you took what I said all wrong. My only issue with it is the exhaust note, which can be fixed. I'm simply not buying one because I like NA V8's, and the cars I've previously own tend to reflect that. I don't much care for the torque delivery of a boosted motor.

After reading 225 postings, BMW should give me an M4 to drive and write about...

I think its more of a engine concept than the actual displacement of CC's or the number of cylinders. If BMW came out with a 3.5L I6 that made 450hp and it was normally aspirated I don't think you would see the same kind of resentment. I really like the new M3/4, however, not enough to get out of my E92 M3. I like the power delivery better and to be frank I have never been into forced induction powerplants for my performance cars. I also like the looks of my E92 M3 more than the F8X cars, doesn't mean I don't like the way the look I am just still enamored with my E92 and not quite ready to part with her, or ever. As others have said the only other car that has my interest peaked right now is the GT350. Problem with the Mustang though it is a big car, yes the GT350 will be lighter than the regular Mustang but my Lord is that hood long. Dave

Ask all 2013.9 E92 M3 buyers like me who factory ordered their car if we couldn't afford an M4. Off course I could/can. But it's a shit box turbo generic small engine and that is why it was a very easy decision. It's simple as that. ( i had more problem deciding which individual color i wanted and ended up missing that deadline). My car was paid cash (individual if granted would have been the same). the 435is hmm sorry m4 is not an M car under the hood, it's a way for bmw to save avoiding the laborious bespoke engine design and cashing in the difference (off course they're not going to pass those savings to the customer, thanks to the M3 badge perceived prestige it's enough to buy for some, a trick that can work for one lame generation abusing the name of previous M car's reputation). Imagine if BMW had released an S66 updated V8 engine then that would have been the true M engine and the car i would be driving today but no but no thanks to a soulless 435 IS with an m4 badge. It's good in its own right for certain people like the 335is was but NOT as an M car. It's all lower choices when one could buy a factory formula one racing inspired V8 M3 car. I can afford one too, even had the chance to get one of the first in my city, but I bought an E92 instead, then a S4, then a C63, and now another M3. I paid cash for all of those too.

I think he means his step daddy did.... His first bro-brag post talked about his step dad and "their" cars.
His argument and logic is severely flawed. Lots of ppl can't afford R8's or Lambos yet those cars are universally loved for the most part and rarely bashed. The F8X is a car full of flaws and cut corners and it shows in the reviews. |

My step dad and I aren't close, I just said he has an E46 because his dislike of the E92 seemed relevant. In-fact I think he's a hell of a lot more interested in his own kids, rather then his wife's 20 year old son. I have money because my biological father passed away. Go ahead and get all the hate and whining out of your system about that, and when you're ready to talk civilly we can continue. Yes. Bought a frozen silver M3, traded it in for an S4, sold the S4, got a C63, then traded my C63 in for another M3. Really don't see how this conversation is about me. You hate the new cars, good for you, don't buy one. Go buy whatever your little heart contends.

Now I have to hunt down OEM gloss carbon trim, OEM M power e brake boot, OEM competition door sills and an OEM steering wheel (not the flat bottom). You've never met people who simply hate things because they can't afford them? Maybe we hang out with different people. Or maybe it's a Canadian thing.
