@rhouch, @kaiv, @yyoo - I wish I met you guys! I only remember one e92 red m3 in my green group. Glad you guys had fun! Will post video soon.

Did any of you guys have sound issues? I was running my RPi x pipe with oem mufflers and I did a 99dp first session 3 laps in then I went and hacked the x pipe at a local muffler shop for 200 bucks. Ran the 2nd session and did a 94db! I couldn't believe it and Dave@Speedventures just told me to short shift going up 5/6 which I did and finally did a 88db. DAMN sound restriction!

I think I saw your car briefly Sat morning (I only ran the last two Black sessions then) and then at the Hyatt, but don't think I ever saw you near the car.

Heard about your sound issues I have bone stock power (stock intake/filter/xpipe/axleback) so I was fine on sound. I have been debating getting a turner test pipe but your story has me worried that I can't pass with that and stock axleback

Nice time, especially with having to short shift 5/6!

I was only there for Friday's track event and stayed at the Hyatt and left Saturday 12pm.

I would get the RPi x pipe for the street and whenever you go to Laguna put back your stock x pipe. I learned my lesson for sure! LOL.

Thank you! I had to shift at 6000 rpm! So sluggish...had to make it up on some other corners.

I did this lap at the 3rd lap of the day, no front tires due to some track time before this event. The car should be capable of some 1:38-39 ish. Hopefully I have chance to do it again at Laguna Seca.

Next time! And glad the lug worked out.. I should have given you a few extras as spares... though I would seriously look into a stud conversion

BTW -- are you using an Emprum GPS with Harry's Lap Timer? (I thought I saw that setup in a vid of yours). I tried it for the first time at Laguna -- worked fine for like two sessions and then it just stopped picking up lap times (or would get a max of the first or second of a session...). Finally "solved" the issue by going back to the internal GPS... but the speed/G readings are abysmal and the laptimes are less accurate (Harry told me I got a 1:44.7 and I was STOKED... until I saw the actual time sheet )
Thanks again for the lug! I have spares at home. I actually brought one spare with me, but two sheared off.

Yes, I use Emprum GPS. And, yes, I've had issues with Harry's Lap Timer not working with the Emprum and, like you, have experienced poor accuracy when using the app without the Emprum...at Laguna Seca. It doesn't seem to be as much of an issue at other tracks for some reason. I don't know how to get around the Emprum issues but be aware that if you store too many laps in the app or run low on system space the app will not record laps. There is a thread on these forums where Harry himself has been answering questions about his app so you might want to post there with your issue.

I have 1 Set of my GT4 wheels left with Pirelli Trofeos. Unfortunate I can Not use it due to my BBK. Maybe an Option for you?!

Very hot day, 103 degrees, slick track because of heat, crowded run session. Had to look for a hole. Sorry for the poor video quality.

First time at this track.
Another easy fix for your problems IF your exhausts have tips that can come out like my old Active Autowerke exhaust is to make custom tips at an muffler shop.

I made custom tips that curve and point down to the ground. When I go to track events and they flag me for sound I put on the tips and pass afterwards. They look ugly as ass but can cut up to 5 db's!

Has your 2012 SG baby arrived yet?

Will we see you at the track before the end of the season?

Delivery date is sometime in August. No finalized date yet.

Doesn't look too hopeful for me this season and I don't feel like wearing out my new tires on the S4.
