That being said, I believe BMW Performance now makes a E-Brake handle with the alcantara boot. You would have to check with a vendor or dealer that can get BMW Performance parts to confirm.

Hey all......I am the "friend" that helped Biglare drive this beauty to AZ and let me say....it was an honor to be your co-pilot on her maiden voyage Sir.
It was a long but rewarding trip.......had some tense moments with the State patrol pullover etc but all part of the journey. We got her home safe and sound as a pound. And actually, the State trooper was kind of hot :-). I am currently processing an M3 order of my own that I will gladly blog here as the details and process unfolds........I will say that I was teetering before this drive between the M5 or the M3 and all my questions were answered afterward. A lot of things impressed me about the M3 but I have to say what stood out the most was the DCT......that thing is MONEY! We all know that DCT is far advanced compared with SMG but its amazing to feel and hear the difference first hand. Night and day for sure. Thanks to the big Man upstairs for seeing us home safe and look forward to reading future posts from you all and putting up the deets when I take delivery on my "beast". Keep your stick on the ice, Mick |

Car looks great but, get some clear contact paper from Walmart/Target and cover the front of the car. You won't be able to see it until you get up close and it comes off easily after a trip. Just make sure the car is clean when you put it on, and get the edges down tight.
For the parking brake handle, did you have to take off the handle piece? How do you remove the DCT boot? Thanks.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

I'm actually digging the subtle Dinan springs drop. I'm sure performance would be actually improved going that route compared to other springs.

Nice, I did a similar (but not as far) break-in when I bought my car at Sandia BMW in Albuquerque, NM and drove it to Austin, TX. Did it over the course of a night and it really gave me a chance to get to know the car.

The drop in these pics is actually more noticeable than others I've seen. Looks good.
