One of the YouTube videos I watched yesterday showed that the reviewer’s UNhelmeted head would not even fit through the open window when he held his head in the vertical up-and-down position.

I've driven both under a clock, and Ill stick to my contention. With the same tires, your GS is also considerably faster than a bone stock E9x around any track.

At the end of the day, the BMW doesnt have the power or the grip for it's weight without considerable modification.

Don't get me wrong; I've put $50k recently into ownership of an E90 specifically for the track and AutoX. But while I'm having a really good time out there and improving my game, I won't be setting any car-irrespective impressive laptimes.

By modern standards, yeah, but the E92 M3 is a 10 year old car at this point. When it came out, the power was plenty. I will concede that it's a bit under-tired, but obviously it's a street car first-and-foremost so BMW has to balance practical considerations like wheel cost and tire selection. The Camaro/Corvette/Mustang all have a lot more wheel and tire, but the replacement costs are ridiculous and selection is slim.

I see the wink so pretty sure you're goofing, but the AiM Smartycam has infinite overlay options. I happen to like this cluster, but I added several more to account for oil and water temp, etc. ...or maybe I just wanna be a P-car even though I generally eat them.

Glad to see you did a friction circle, those things are way more useful than people give them credit for.

Can you put a math channel on the overlay or just the standard CAN inputs?

It's astounding how nailed-down these cars are with that much power. What a world we live in

Unfortunately I don't know. He was in the faster of two open passing run groups, so I wasn't on track with him. Also didn't watch from sidelines. Car looks pretty stable in the video!

Can confirm, you can't. Once you get inside it's actually quite roomy. I'm 6'2 and 300 pounds and I fit fine. I did have to put my helmet on inside though. In an emergency I could evac myself with it on but it wouldn't be graceful.

However, there's nothing to hold on to as a passenger. Nothing. Made instructing kind of eventful.

Chevy's PTM is pretty sophisticated, and of course these cars have MRC suspension and enormous tires with legit aero. I'm no Camaro fanboy but it's a serious track car now.
