Bought a prior generation Tahoe

It's official. I no longer own a BMW. It was a bitter sweet decision. I love everything about that car except for the car payments. So, I decided to combine my truck and my 440i into a Tahoe. This will be my 2nd Tahoe of the same generation. I absolutely hate the 2021 model as much as I hate the new 4 series.

All the options checked of course! Adaptive cruise, active lane keeping, heat and cold seats, rear seat heaters, 22" wheels, HID, Bose, sat/nav, remote start, power flip fold 3rd row seat, rear climate control, magnetic ride suspension, and a Bluray player. (for whatever reason)

I hope to continue bugging this BMW forum until such time when I get a new BMW. It will probably be electric by then.

I'll post a better picture when it's not so gloomy outside.

I have both as well. 22" wheels are great but they ride rough. It is nice sitting up high. If I were you, I would get a tune for it. It is a night and day difference in the performance and transmission shifts.

It's softer than my 440i with adaptive suspension and 18" wheels. I would prefer it with 20" wheels instead but the magnetic ride suspension helped a lot.

Nice looking truck, always good to get in on the final model year of a vehicle you like.

Nice looking truck. I'm curious to know what you don't like about the new one? I don't know much about Tahoe's but seeing that you hate it as much as the 4er they must have done something really awful

The 2021 had that weird gap design on the grill The side window trims, door line don't line up with anything. Then there's the interior center stack screen that looks like it would slide down but it does not. I know everyone is doing that weird center screen that looks out of place but it's the one thing I don't really like about my 440i either.

It just doesn't look cohesive as if each section of the vehicle was designed by a different department. I'm sure there are people that love it. I'm just not one of them.

Yeah, Chevy's grill designs, especially on the Camaro and the trucks are very weird and not appealing. While the GMC Yukon has a large grill I find it more appealing, as well as the interior design.

2020 interior

I still think 2020 interior is still much nicer.

Love the new Denali. Back to a more masculine design.

Rented a Suburban a few years ago when we went to Canada. That truck surprised me. Extremely comfortable to drive and travel in. Excellent speed masking when driven in a straight line. I actually enjoyed it!
Congrats on the new truck GenXer!!!
