Price check 2012 E92 M3

Looking to see what everyone's opinion is on value. 6 owner, minor accident, DCT, sunroof. Dealer is well aware of the stigma of this vehicle with above mentioned items.

Maybe not so bad but needs some additional assurance from the dealer. Can the dealer get the rod bearings replaced given the change of hands (and possibility of someone modding the car) or get you a good deal on a warranty?

Looks clean (if not a little greasy lol) and price is appropriately low. If you can knock off $2k for rod bearing work and don't mind the sunroof I think it's reasonable.

With a slight accident, 6 owners, sunroof, DCT!!!! You are thinking $26k is a good price?

None of those things are offered. He's going to sell and be done. What's your estimate of a good sale price? Car is not for me. I have a few already lol. It's for a buddy looking. Trying to see if you guys can help get him the lowest price possible due to the history of the car. I believe this vehicle is ripe for low balling as opposed to a lower mileage non accident, 1 to 3 owner car with a good medical history.

Owners to me don't necessarily mean much, especially since you can have two from a lease then buy out and even a refinance. Any maintenance records? Also, I'd ask for some money off to get the armourall removed which will probably be at least 1k. Looks like a highly optioned car which appeals to me rather than a stripper. Price is good already but I'd still negotiate to 27k. Don't know what's hiding underneath the tire shined interior.

Well, depends on your threshold for imperfections. Does this car meet what you're looking for within a budget or is it of interest strictly because it can be bought cheap? Also hard to tell condition from photos so need in person assessment.

Personally I wouldn't buy this car at all but that's because I'm being a snob about my purchase. I think value range on this car is $24-26k depending on the buyer, but they could also find an average joe to buy it at $28k. It always comes down to though how much is it worth to you (or your friend)?

Feels like a decent price, depending on how bad the accident was...good luck to your friend!

You guys are all killing me. And I agree with you guys 99.9% of the time. I'm seeing members cars with less mileage, less owners, manuals and DCT's, zero accidents sitting there and not selling for less money. Maybe I didn't make mention that this car has had an accident, has had 6 owners. That means when the next owner goes to sell it three or five years from now the next owner will be the 8th owner!!!!! Maybe Flying Ace can make sense of all this?

I think //M3ftw car is compatible other than the year built and priced way lower but still sitting.

Other than obvious advantages when buying from the original owner, what difference does it make how many owners it's had?

Also, what do you mean by minor accident? How minor? What was repaired, replaced and by whom? This is what you should be worried about, not how many owners. Or are you reading this from the carfax? You should also be concerned that the front end gaps are off, i mean it could be just the hood latch or it could be something else. Interior looks nice and baked for the mileage. Is it being sold by Abdul's Used Cars, or a franchise dealer? Regardless, i doubt you can get the service history for it.

Bottom line - there is a reason its 29k and not 33k plus like other better examples are going for. You'll want to dump those tires as well if you get it ... Add $1500. Add for shipping, add for other deferred maintenance. False economy when it's all said and done.

Just my $.02

You guys are all insane for even considering this car at $28k. This car with it's tainted history, mileage and whoring to 6 owners for a 2013 just screams stay away.
