9/19/09: Four E92 M3 - 31 Pictures (some HRD)
This is the photo shoot that we went on in conjunction with the Exhaust Comparison Video 2 we also shot today.
Exhaust Comparison Video 2: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...34#post5895834 Camera used was a Nikon D5000 with a Nikkon 35mm, F1.8 lens. Group Shots Tlud Ajax-Prime and Tlud Ajax-Prime JC919 and frankzlin79 HRE Sport v. OEM - Not a fair comparison because we are inclined down hill, so left M3 is lower than normal, and right M3 is higher than normal. JC919 frankzlin79 Relaxing Feet - I slaved away and sweated like a pig taking the photos, while the others sat on the side and laughed at me. Last edited by frankzlin79; 09-20-2009 at 02:05 AM.. |

Frank, that last pic is classic! We were crackin' up because you were sweating your balls off and kept saying that you were done, but then you'd see another shot you liked and you'd take a bunch more pictures. They came out great though!

Looks like the top of the garage at 515 or 520 Post Oak Blvd.
I just picked up my AW M3 last week, so not registered in TX yet. Do the cops give any of you problems for not having the front plates? Neo |

Thank you all. These photos were taken on top of a garage on Bering Drive, which is very close to San Felipe. My favorite is the first picture. The HDR came out very well...it was actually a pretty cloudy day, but I forced blue skies into the pictures.
NeoE46: Texas cops will not normally pull you over for having no front plate as the only violation. They will typically get you for speeding, then check for license, insurance, registration, and front plate in their routine. I've driven by plenty of cops and so long as they don't pull me over, the cops don't care you don't have a front plate. Look at them sexy feet! I knew you guys didn't know I took that picture...it was a surprise. Since I have to do some work tomorrow, I decided to finish editing the Exhaust Comparison Video 2...it's being uploaded to YouTube right now! |

Fingers crossed, I’ve never had a problem without having a front license plate on any of the cars I’ve had in Houston. However, I have been ticketed once in Bellaire for not having a front license plate…

Very nice pics
I wish I was there to take some pics with you guys. I can't wait to see the vids I think when I get back from Iraq in early Dec. I will have to take a trip down to Houston to visit my son and check you guys out. Maybe you can do another video with exhaust to include my Remus Race exhaust Once again great pics and everyone M3 looks good

What kind of calipers r those? They look like those fake brembo covers! If they are "real" they look kinda odd. Probablly would look better with an M3 decal. If they are plastic covers you should b shot!

Thanks. I'm trying to make photography as one of my hobbies. But I usually either don't have time to go take pictures or don't have subject matter to take. If you are looking to get a Digital SLR, I do recommend the Nikon D5000. Don't get a D40 or D60. I bought a D60, and returned it after two days. The D60 performs poorly in low light conditions. The D5000 is great in low light, especially with the 35mm. F1.8 lens I bought. The D90 of course is still king, and get it, if you can afford it.

I'll let Tlud come defend himself, but his brakes are StopTech, and he had the StopTech logos removed, by repainting them, because he didn't like the StopTech logo. They definitely aren't fake...did you see the size of his brake rotors?
