Placed my first order with FCP Euro. Got an oil change kit and two valve cover gaskets. Gonna do my first DIY. Will do the trans and diff next month.

Lol, absolutely! Pulling the camber pins and getting an alignment on Saturday as well.

I went 10/5 because I am also getting upsized 255/275s on my 359Ms. Most folks get 12/10s on this setup, but I wanted something a little more conservative/mild, with limited collateral damage to my fender/door/bumper behind the tires. These sizes work fine with OE wheels (but may not with aftermarket).
EAS has a great master reference thread for spacers with tons of photos and details. Any quality spacer should be fine if installed correctly, they aren't a complex product.

I run 12mm spacers on all 4 corners (same size due to the fact I have 75mm studs) with 255/275 PS4S tires. I wish I would have done bolts and 15mm on the front though. The rears are perfect and do not rub unless the car is loaded with luggage and you hit a good bump. The fronts still have a bit of a gap...

I am considering getting 15mm spacers for the front and ditching the studs and nuts as I really never remove my wheels.

And be careful with the 5mm spacers as they can be a pain to center.

Cheers,

Looks good! I don't remove mine often either, so I'm okay with lugs bolts as well.
I think the sedan has a little more clearance in the rear, but I don't want it to ever rub. I also prefer a littttle clearance since I think that makes the body look wider.

I hear ya on the rub. It is annoying so with the wider tires, 5mm will likely be awesome.

Hope it all works well for ya! Post some pics!!

What tires did you get? Getting square-shouldered tires or sticking close to the OEM stretched look will influence which spacers I put on.

Anyone know where (via a link) I can buy just an OEM E90 M3 floormat for the drive side only? I've seen where people claim BMW began offering individual floormats, but I can't find them anywhere.

I went with PS4S' in 255/275. I tried to factor in tire shoulder design, widths, alignment (camber), and ZCP suspension into my spacer choices. I was probably splitting hairs, but I'll post pictures next week regardless!

Super clean indeed. I have gunmetal as well on my AW. I like it a lot (esp when it comes time to cleaning them), but you can't go wrong with OE silver. I think on SGM, silver is best. Gunmetal works on white, blue, black, etc. I've also come to the conclusion that I don't like gunmetal wheels with darker tint, so I plan on removing my Huper Optik 35% tint this fall.

I love this look.

Thanks for the shout out. The wheels on my car are OE 359s but I had them refinished with a slightly darker shade of silver. Previous owner had some road rash that needed fixing so I thought I would change it just a little.

Here is a photo with the factory silver wheels.

Cheers,

the rails bolt directly in to factory mounting point. Took about 20 minutes to install both seats

Those were my first two mods. Noticeable improvements is both cases. With the stubby ZHP knob, I don't feel a need for a shortshift kit.

Installed this Evo II QRT in my airM3. Don't worry I'm not sick, although I may appear to be. Just tired.

I just put 18mm spacers on the rears to push out my 17x9 et 30 ARC8s but I am going with 15mm in the front since I am not really a fan of the bulldog stance look.

I have a squared set up with staggered tires - 245/45 and 275/40 (will change out the fronts to 275 next year).

Also, added smoked bumper reflectors (The car is alpine white with carbon fiber accents).

Will probably replace my clock spring this weekend to try and remedy my paddle shifters not working.
