I'm seriously considering getting a square 18x10 set up of ARC8s for the track, now need to also figure out tires for the 275/35/18 set up.
Dropped a little (when I had Ground Control installed). The drop looked better when I had ZCP's.

Wheel spec: Anthracite ARC-8, 18x10 ET25, squared.

For streetable track tires, AD08 or R-S3.

Wasn't sure if they're going to rub or not, and didn't want to experiment (if it rubs, I'd have to try to unload'em to someone, etc). With so many others already running 275's without rubbing, went with sure thing. Plus, found someone local who was selling brand new set of four 275 R-S3's for very low price.

Bumping this thread for more pics. I'm ordering the 18x10 ET25 for my track set up. One thing I noticed is that the rear wheels looks slightly sunk in. Any suggestions on what spacer I would need to make the rear wheel look flush?

I have a stock non-ZCP suspension. Thank you.

Due to the GIANT chamfer on the wheel's bore you cant run anything smaller than a 10mm. ( trust we measured it up and there's no way anything smaller would even be safe )

I am running 18x10 front with 275/35 and 18x10.5 rear with 285/35 and The rears still could have used a nice spacer for a more flush look. ( no rubbing even under the hardest turns on the track ).

EDIT: I also have stock non ZCP suspension.

You can probably run a 15mm spacer in the rear. I have used both 15mm and 12mm spacers in the rear with the 10.5's on my E90 M3. Slight rubbing with the 15mm, none with the 12, I'm running 285's with -2 camber, lowered. Your results may vary.

Again, my reason for a min of 10mm is because the wheel doesnt really get much of the wheel bore when using less than 10mm. But 10mm spacers usually extend the hub a little.

Those are the Anthracite finish. I can't tell what the rear wheel width is, but those are definitely the OEM tire sizes stretched on a 9.5" front. I'm guessing the rear is a 10" or 10.5" since the rear stretch looks about the same.

If you don't have to reuse the stock tires, then the ideal tire sizes are 265 front and 285 rear for a street/track fitment on the staggered setup.

I'm getting the 18x10 square set up. Will 275/40/18s rub?

275/40/18 is going to be very tall in the front and will most likely contact the liners in front and behind the tire. Why would you want to go with a 275/40?

Correction: I had my car checked out at another shop last week, and it was determined that the front camber is -4.0!

Suddenly, everything made sense. I've had many people (such as yourself) asking in open thread, and via pm, re: my camber. Plus, 3 weeks ago at Auto Club Speedway, a track buddy who just got front camber on his E90 M3 set up for -3.2 was asking "what's your camber at the front?" Me: "-3.2." Him: "Really? Mine's -3.2 also, but yours look so much more aggressive than mine." Well, now I know why!

Also, saw a S14 recently that had -4.5 camber at the front and looks similar to mine.

This was a case of manual alignment being superior to a particular alignment machine. The shop knows that their alignment machine is off, but they obviously don't realize by how much it's off.

I know that the 275/35/18 tires will work with no issues on a 18x10 square set-up. Has anyone sucessfully mounted 285/35/18 on stock suspension without any issues? I'm trying to get the most rubber possible on the wheels.

Thanks. Yeah I was wondering if the only way to get a 285 to fit on the front was go to a 285/30/18.
