"Overspray" on the Monte Carlo Blue Edition
Hi guy's,
First post for me and glad to be here! Bit of a negative question to be begin with though, What's with the "overspray" on these models? I've just bought an immaculate low mileage M3 in Monte Carlo Blue, but when checking it out it looked like it had received either a couple of new wings or wing repairs as it looked like overspray in the engine bay along where the wings mount. A quick check on this site though confirmed they are all finished like that. It seems odd as the other colours are all done perfectly, yet it's as if BMW just programmed the paint robot to spray the hood and never mind the gap to the wings on the MCB colour? Just curious to know if anubody has any insight into this. Cheers Daz |

I agree with you 100%. When I recieved mine I thought the same thing. Every other color is extended into the engine bay, where as Monte carlo gets a dark blue almost black everywhere else except the exterior panels. Strange...
