SCCA Members On M3Post?
In the past few months, I've racked up 4 SCCA events as a temporary "weekend" member, and I'm now realizing I should just sign up for annual membership to save money. I just wanted to see if there were any SCCA members here on M3Post, particularly members in the Missouri/Kansas area, who could advise me on whether it's better to pick a smaller local chapter (in my case, the Ozark Mountain Region headquartered ~1.5 hours away) or a larger, more active local chapter in the next nearest big city (for me, either Kansas City headquartered ~3 hours away or Saint Louis headquartered ~2.5 hours away).
Also, is anyone interested in "referring" me to the SCCA? From what I understand, we would each get a discount of some sort for our annual SCCA memberships. Thanks in advance for any guidance/help that's out there. |

i signed up for one year and didnt take advantage. im still debating. id go with whichever home chapter offers more events that youd attend. otherwise, i dont think it matters and you can go to all anyway

Yo.
STL is one of the oldest and biggest, but ozark mountain is very active for a region with no racetracks Region of record really does not matter much, until you are competing for division points and runoffs qualification and whatnot

Thanks for the responses; ultimately I went with the STL Region because I'm primarily interested in PDX/Road Course events, which STL Region offers plenty of and OMR does not/cannot.
