Arai quantum at the current time.

Switching to an Arai Corsair Jolly Roger

The most comfortable helmet I have ever owned. Once I find something I like I am kinda a brand whore.

Nice place to start.

Make sure you leave room for yourself to grow into your bike rather than out of it. A lot of people start too small and outgrow the bike immediately.

Shoei RF-1000 Diabolic 3

Suomy Gun Wind Ruben Xaus

I've also owned KBC and ICON but they weren't my favorites. I loved my HJC and it saved my life once.

I'm looking at an Arai right now, but still looking for reasons to justify all that cash on a helmet. Currently have a Carbon HJC.

I had an AGV for several years, then I got an Arai, (forgot model numbers, neither were low end). The Arai is way better, more comfortable, better fit, much better ventilation, but a couple hundred bucks more. But you do put your brain in there (both are very safe) and a more comfortable lighter etc helmet will reduce fatigue and better ventilation will help to keep your visor from fogging up.

I have a SD Padres (I think) novelty bucket that had the emblems removed, a chin strap added, and I wear it backwards so the bill doesn't catch the wind.

Have always wanted one of the German infantry helemts with a spike on the top. If somebody cuts me off, I'm going thru the windshield head first as payback.
