Does ESS have to retune your car for deleting the secondary cats?

Thats a great question. I sent AJ@ESS a email this morning to see.
I am also going to erase the cold start on this set up just bc I know it will be louder then the EVO and I really just dont want to deal with it and the neighbors to tell you the truth. My goal with this exhaust is for it to me slightly louder if any when civil but be a lot louder when I want it to be. With my research and bugging people both vendor and customers I think that is exactly what the gt4 brings to the table. Basically the same as EVO during civil driving but load and downshift are a lot more aggressive

What is the "cold start" thing I keep hearing about?
Is this why the car is louder when first being fired up and with the flash, is that supposed to be more quiet or louder? Congrats on the new pipe, anxious to hear your results!

^^ you can have your cold start cycle deleted by tuning that out. when you get aftermarket exhaust this actions volume is magnified. When you get a catless exhaust ie gt4 the cold start would be thunderous!! lol hence I am deleting the cold start bc I dont have cats so I dont see the need.
I currently have the cold start active on my EVO system and its very bassy but not that loud so I put it back on. (i deleted it before when I first got it)

^Thanks!
So from factory, the cold start is active meaning the car is extra loud when first started in the morning. By deleting it the car is quieter. No wonder my Akra slip on sounds really nice when I first start the car, then it quiets down and I'm hoping the EVO pipe will just maintain the cold start volume and I'll be happy camper

^^It will be louder and more boomy (is that a word?) when you add the EVO pipe during the cold start. Its not super loud but it is very bassey and will def vibrate the garage and house

Also got confirmation from Aj@ESS no difference between the EVO tune and the gt4 tune.
Thanks Roman as well for clearing that up
