Thanks very much for the help and advice.

Does the front bumper need to come off to change or clean the supercharger air filter or can it be done with the bumper in place?

Bumper in place. You get to it through the wheel well.

What is the application/part number for the supercharger belt rollers? The two on the charger mounting plate. Would like to replace them on my vt625 kit.

Please contact ESS directly as they will be able to supply replacement parts.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but were there any hardware changes back when they went from the 585 to the 595 kit or was it software?

Also, to go from the 595 to 625, am I reading correctly that the difference is pully/belt and no tune upgrade is "required" ?

Pulley, Belt, injectors, software improvements and BOV style have all chanced since the transition from 585 to 595.

You will need a revised tune as the 625 runs slightly higher boost.

When I bought my 625 kit it came with white injectors, I know you later switched it to the blues. Problem is whites are only rated for about 550 WHP which im slightly over only running 6lbs of boost "low compression engine"

Do you run any deal for people wanting the newer injectors instead of the old? Or it just full price?
And what are the blues rated up to, know stock fuel system maxes out at about 600whp.

Thanks.

You'll need to contact ESS directly on injectors, since you'll likely need retuning as well.

I would go through another vendor for the injectors. if you need the info, I have the Bosch part numbers from the boxes they came from ess. Unless you bought your kit from ess, they are not going to be very interested in providing you any service. Crazy, I know.

Bought it new from a vendor/installed, but not directly from ESS themselves. If you could shoot me the part numbers for the injectors that would be awesome for when I do switch.

Thanks!

Is that because they are rusty or for another reason?

I have had mine installed for less than a year and they have gone rusty where the belt doesn't touch. I'm not very happy about it but I don't know whether it's worth replacing them if it's just going to happen again...

Would you mind sharing those with me as well? I'm planning out my upgrade from the 585 to 625.

Thanks!

The bearings were a little noisy and didn't feel smooth when spinning by hand.

I just ordered the 550 to 625 upgrade kit from ESS and they are sending "black 124" injectors. ESS says these are much better than the old blues and actually OEM Ferrari injectors.

This is fact. I recently installed a 625 kit on a customers car and the black Ferrari injectors was supplied.

I believe they are BOSCH 0 280 158 124. I'll confirm when I get them this weekend.

What's the benefit of the black ones over the previous blue ones? Just wondering if I should upgrade them.

If the previously supplied part number for the black ones is correct, they only flow 261 g/min at 3 bar (N-Heptane) which is 381 cc/min (petrol) at 3 bar. Even though they work well with the ESS kit, they are a smallish injector. You'd be better off getting different injectors that flow more if you intend to increase your boost or run fuel with higher ethanol content. 1000 cc/min injectors are common on other cars with high power and boost.
