Stoptech ST40 before and after
Decided to go with Trophy ST40 for a brake upgrade. E92 M3 coupe
Here are stock vs upgrade photos. No idea in which order my photos upload, but you'll see stock setup and Stoptech setup, then zinc coating originally, and burned off. |

Did the install myself, fairly easy since I've already been swapping brake pads etc. There's a pretty good Stoptech BBK install video on an E92 out there that I watched once to make sure I was comfortable doing it.
I've bled the brakes initially, then again with some tapping on the pipes a day later. I've done two bedding runs and I'll do one more tonight although at this point the brakes feel solid. Can't tell much of a difference/improvement yet, but next time i'm on a track I'm expecting more consistency and heat resilience. |

You won't really feel it on the road. Only thing I detected was a more linear pedal feel (stock brakes were very grabby).
