I was just wondering how much do cops in toronto hassle about front plates? I'm asking b/c NJ/NY law also requires front plates but I haven't mounted a front plate in 8 years and have never gotten a ticket or pulled over for it, and I don't plan on mounting it anytime soon....

for inspections I just zip tie it front grill right before I go through the inspection then cut if right off after I go through...as for tints I've been rolling my window down for years and still passing, not once have they bothered to put up my windows....

wait zip tying the plate to your grill gets you through no problem? I live in jersey too where do you get your car inspected? I'm not sure that would fly where I go...

The "E92 M3" Plates Are really cool But Fuck That, Im never putting on a Front Plate!
I never had a Front plate on my E46 M3 both on the Stock and on the CSL Bumper and Im sure as Hell Not going to put one on my E92 M3. If they give me tickets so be it, Its a $25 Fix-it-Ticket!
I just Double Stick tape the plate on, Go to the Police station and get it writting off and pay the $25!

I just CANT have a Front plate on my Front bumper

usually paramus....last time with the Pcar I didn't even mount it (forgot) guy was cool and said it looks better with out it and don't bother putting it on just for inspection...b/c he new I was going to take it right off....I've gotten away with not having it for roughly 8yrs including tints and if now I get hassled I'll deal with it and pay the ticket but I'm still not going to mount it...

The NJ State Inspection stations will pass your car if there is no front plate, as long as the plate is in possession of the owner, and placed on the front dash/windshield. I've done it before at the state inspection station.
