what brand would you choose?

Since there's been a handful of threads lately about exotics/luxury rides, thought it'd be fun to take a poll and see how the names rank against one another.

Theoretical situation: Family member wins the lotto (or is just loaded) and offers to buy you 1 car. You can keep your E90 (and anything else you own) for a daily driver... this is just a gift and their way of being nice.

What marquee would you go with?

Personally, I'd go with an Aston Martin. I know there are faster, more luxurious, more reliable, more expensive cars; but IMHO nothing blends power, style, luxury, prestige, and that sense of individuality quite like an Aston.
Not saying I'd turn down any of the cars... hell, I'd take a Cadillac if it was free. But what would be your 1 choice?

Hmmmm....If I won the lotto,,I'd get a Ferrari. But if a family memeber won, and I only had one car (that you couldn't just sell and take the money and then buy another car)...it would be a Porsche. Not sure if it would be a GT2 or Carrera GT. Don't flame about how much better the GT is... I want a car that I can drive and not have to worry about getting killled for my car. The GT2 could pass off as a "normal" 911 to most people, and the insurance wouldn't make me get 2 more full time jobs!!

I would get a ferrari, I just love styling, plus all of those makes have so much HP, I dont have anywhere to drive it! So styling makes my decision.

No matter how I love to own a 997 Turbo, i voted Ferrari instead of Porsche because Porsche is basically a very ugly car if you take out its badge. Sorry Porsche guys

I love Porsche's, I've driven the new 997 Turbo and the C4S and they were, for lack of a better word, amazing. That said, having been lucky enough to become intimately aquainted with a 360 Stradale, 575M, and 430 - I'd pick Ferrari. The new 599 looks like it'll be unbelivable.

Gaahhh.

Frankly not driven a Porsche. I always fell in love with the exhaust sound of 911 Turbo no matter which generation. But I ain't giving up a Ferrari for a ugly 911 frog. BTW, the sound of a Ferrari is more classy.

I love the Zonda... but the wood on the steering wheel, shifter, ebrake just looks out of place IMO.
