And just to play devil's advocate, maybe the long term refers to and includes past years. There wasn't any specificity on whether the long term was future or not.
On Reuters, RP's principal Szafnauer said ''We have long term contracts with our drivers so it would be logical that we have no space. It's flattering that everyone thinks a four-time champ should come to our team, maybe that's because the car's a bit quicker now''.

It would be logical that they have no space, but also like I mentioned, long term is a bit of an unknown term. It could be that the end of the term is end of 2021 season.
Maybe Seb takes a year off, idk. Feel bad for the guy, but his performance really has been lacking lately, especially when comparing to Leclerc, you just can't deny it.

Alonso will be prob be 40 when he joins Renault but he's a different kettle of fish and Vettel at 35-36 will find it tough with so many young rockets coming through. Waiting Schumacher and promising youngsters like Russell and Norris moving up will be extra barriers for Seb. Nope,he's had it mate.

Maybe him and Kimi will start a young driver's school. Kimi already likes to go out and teach at least his kid, plus Seb was out testing Tony Karts for the first time last year...

I knew probably you were super busy today (usually is Fridays) and yes Max is driving the wheels of that freshly sorted 16! ...while a few doors away Lewis changed his set up for some reason and wobbled to P6.
This could mean prov. pole for MAX tomorrow as per the regs as FP2 result will be used if there is a washout with thunderstorms heading for those styrian hills.

Horner is sure Merc were sandbagging in FP2

Christian has said that Merc were almost certainly sandbagging in FP2 as even the improvements to the RB cars drivability does not coincide with the drop in pace from Merc.
FP3 and quali look doubtful for today and there is talk of it happening on Sunday morning as a break in the weather is on the weather boffins' graphs.

All stop with the tiling, we've discovered DAMP over an area where there was a radiator burst few weeks ago. A de-humidifier has taken over for a day or so...
