I already have a sparco wheel, so i would love to know what others done to relocate the M button.

thanks.
KMP has the only proper solution. You should not let a $250 steering wheel purchase prevent you from doing it right. My advice is sell the wheel you have and move on to the right solution. I have been around here for 10 years. I have not seen anyone relocate the M button. The only other option I have seen is to attach the whole OE switch panel to the new wheel. Definitely not an elegant solution.

Problem is there's a pretty big jump from a $250 wheel to $2000 wheel.
I'm all about doing it right but I can see why finding a way to relocate or custom wire in the M button to one of the cheaper wheel options on the market would be appealing.

I'm thinking MisterClutch888 you might want to see about getting someone around you to fabricate a bracket to relocate the button panel elsewhere somewhat cleanly. Or find someone with the skillset to wire in a custom button if that's even possible.

Has anyone run the Corbeau FX1 Pro Wide sweat fit in the e92 M3?

Will it fit? The shoulder width is 24.5 inches and the base width is 24.5 inches.

Home brew panel that I fabricated. I was contemplating producing them but have not had the time to push that forward.

If you would, can you send me a couple of photos? I don't want to derail this thread. We've spoken on IG before, my IG is Alex_Miller - if that is easier. Thanks.

Cobra Nogaro Circuit Seat

I installed a Cobra Nogaro Circuit seat in my E92 M3 recently. Seat fits perfectly and is much lighter than stock. I used Macht Schnell floor mounts and seatbelt receptacle, Recaro sliders and Brey Krause side mounts. I was hoping to add more headroom but it's actually pretty close to stock so I will have to take the sliders out. With the sliders in, the only way I can wear a helmet is to remove the seat padding which is very uncomfortable. With padding, the seats are reasonably comfortable and very supportive. Can't wait to try on the track this summer. Just need to code out the airbag lights now but that's a topic for another thread.

Probably much less interest in a full panel, as most don't remove the heater controls. But if enough people would be interested I'd make some more of these dash panels like I did in my car. I still have the template and it mounts to the factory mounting tabs in the dash.

Any suggestions/recommendations for a hybrid street/track seat similar to the cobra nogaro - but wider in the shoulders?

Were you holding the steering wheel when you test sat them?

I find the shoulders feel a little tight when not driving, but when holding the steering wheel the shoulders are bang on perfect.

Anyone have a part number for a driver side seat belt receptacle that works with a sparco qrtr r and Sparco base. There are several lower bmw rear belt receptacles that look like they work but I don't know the correct length to get.

Iím also looking wondering if anyone has fit this seat into an e90 m3. Imma big guy weighing 380 and 6ft. Wondering if this seat will fit without any modifications to the door panels.

Edit: I ended buying this center rear buckle due to it's longer length, hoping I can run it inboard on the QRT R. Part number: 9119611.

Update: this will not work. The center buckle will not accept the seatbelt. Back to the drawing board, anyone have advice on what buckle to buy to retain the stock belt?

After some further thought on this I think I need a seat with wider shoulders as well, have reached out to Cobra to see if they have any interest in making them that way, will report back. Interested in hearing other options as well, completely love the Nogaros besides the shoulders!

Have you guys judged the Nogaros shoulders while holding the steering wheel?

I find them tight in the shoulders when I'm not driving, but when I hold the steering wheel they're bang on perfect.

The pole position ABE varient is the only other fixed back seat I know of that plays nicely with a 3 point

I'm buying a "low height" lower cushion for my driver-side Nogaro to use on track, hoping this buys me a tiny bit more headroom and gets my eyes onto the tachometer a bit easier. Tbd.

I run the "low profile" bottom cushion from Cobra while on track and it improved headroom obviously but also lowered me enough in the seat so my shoulders don't feel as squeezed (I'm 6'0 about 200)

In addition to the cushion I also recently started using a steering wheel spacer that brings the wheel about 2" closer. Huge ergonomic improvement with all of the above. Pretty seamless once wired up

how did you do that? is it a kit, or a one-off DIY? i'm interested.

I first saw the products discussed on Rennlist forums from my Porsche days but they have a variety of applications with good reviews so I went for it. Happy that I did.

I know of a couple others on here that have the spacer installed on tracked M3's

*it does include important wiring but you'll need to make 2 small jumper wires to fully eliminate airbag light and maintain airbag function

Can vouch for this. I have an identical setup to CHSe92 in regard to seats, sliders/mounts and steering spacer.

The wiring is clean and straightforward when you have the jumpers (thanks Jacob) but putting it all together was a test for my fine motor skills. I was sitting in the drivers seat while doing it though so I'll take that install over laying on my back or standing on my head to work under the dash, any day.

It provides much improved wheel control ergos for probably anyone 5'10+ but especially for me being all arms and legs (6'4, 210#). When word of this spreads a bit more in here I anticipate it being a standard interior mod for tracked cars with a factory style steering wheel. It probably works with aftermarket race wheels as well, but thats just a guess.

It’s possible that this has been gone over in this thread- however… does anyone know if the evo x Recaros fit in the e90 and if so what mounts did you use or what fab work was required.

Pretty sure they’re just the sr-11’s with airbags.
