Add hight to the banjo bold.
It is self sealing AN coupling.
Make it tight, but don't go crazy

This has to be installed after the banjo is in place.

Angle it so the all the hex corner can clear the tab that protrude.

For all the OCD DIY, This means it is not going to be 100% vertical!

This goes on the hose attached to the fill pump.

It screws to the car side and allow pumping DCT fluid under pressure and no mess.

It can be hand tight and still seal the connection. You don't want to make to too tight because you done want to unscrew the adapter that connects to the banjo.

It swivel, so the hose does not get tangled!

Pump end.
The hose goes here and secured with a 3/8" clamp. The clamp comes with the pump.

Nice approach. I looked into this method a while back, ended up just doing a tilt and fill with the Fall Line pan. But the banjo can make it easier.

Resurrecting the most recent thread on DCT issues…
Wondering what are the alarm thresholds for DCT temps - how high is too high?
Now that AIM has added DCT temps to their PT6 protocol, I’d like to set an alarm to notify me of excessive temps.
I was at Lime Rock last weekend and hit highs of 232F. Shifting was fine, no warning gear symbol indicator on the dash and no limp mode.
I have an Epic DCT tune which bumps the max temp threshold, but I don’t know from what or to what.
Anyone know the DCT temp alarm settings for the stock and GTS tunes?

I set mine to 210 and the alarm have yet to get triggered.

If I see in the log that it goes above it, and the car shift normal, I will raise the alarm.

It is part of the BMW ECU you download to the AIM device. The software does not need to be new, nor the device has to be new. But you need to be connected to the CAN bus, not OBD II
