We all like different things.
Why do you like 19 over 18?

I used like 19 more but the extra lip wasn't for me over time… plus 18 inch is huge difference in weight from zip wheel off the bat…I'm sure 19 te aren't much heavier but each to there own

18" better for specific application. Lighter weight mainly. 18" tires are priced way better than 19" which is a big concern for cars that see track time.

Anyone lowered on H&R springs with 18x9.5+15/10.5+20 TE37SL? Wondering what it'll take for these to work right? I was leaning towards 265/35-285/35. I know the rear will work but worried the fronts might rub.
Pic of my current setup. |

Unsure sorry, I have Ohlins R/T with camber plates and I think I'm running around -2 up front though, nothing crazy.

Finally on my dream wheels!
Mag Blue 18x9.5 + 22 squared on 275/35 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. 5mm spacers in the front with a bit of camber, no rubbing. Planning on grabbing a set of 5mm spacers for the rear for fitment purposes. |

Little gift to myself to celebrate 12 years of owning my M3!
I went through most of this thread and didn't see my wheel/tire set up yet so figured I'll share a few pics. This is my track set up - looking to drop some lap times with these lightweight wheels! 18x9.5 +15 TE37 SL Pressed Graphite (Gyeon Mohs Evo ceramic coated after purchasing) 275/35 18 Kumho V730 tires Suspension: KW V3 coil overs - about 1 inch lower than stock - corner weighted with driver only set up Dinan fixed camber plates -2.8/-2.3 degrees camber front/rear No rubbing except front on the fender liner when fully locked. I usually go through a set of tires every 4-5 months so we'll see how these Kumho semi slick tires do on track and if I'll be buying them again. So far, its very stiff on the street. Not much road noise though. The width is more like a 285 tire since the tires have square sidewalls and oversized for track use.

I was a bit concerned with the +15 offset because the common fitment is +20-22. The rear has a bit more space to fit a spacer or even larger wheel/tire if needed. The front is pretty maxed out though. I think it won't clear if I didn't have as much negative camber. That said, tires are a big factor in this. An RT660 runs even wider for the same size than the V730 I'm running - it may not fit. And something with a round sidewall and narrower tire like a PS4S - I probably wouldn't rub at all.
