additional oil cooler

It's not too bad. The mistake many do is to put additional coolers in line. If you put them parallel you have additional cooling surface and you increase the time the oil is in the cooler as well. I used AM12 and large Y fittings to make that happen. Not something you want to do for road cars.
The oil cooler requirements for S65 -once driven hard- is crazy.

Road Atlanta in 1:31.3 with NASA SE

Finally the winter is over and I'm back on track!
Both days perfect weather though cold with 35F in the morning session.
315/30/18 A7 all around.
Fully caged. Weight 3542 lbs (with me after session on scale, my TT3 min is 3501#)
Made a lot of smaller tweaks and car is getting better every year but this was my very first event so I didn't gave it all....Enjoy!

Congrats on P2 in limited, that is awesome! Gearing is just a bit wrong for that track, makes me appreciate the DCT even more. Car looks like it is working really well though, I can't wait to try out the new diff in mine.

Thanks! Yea riding the limiter a bit. That's with 8600 limit too. My excuse generator wants to say DCT would've brought me in range for the win, but really I just need more power and I'll be well into the next gears.

Car is feeling perfect. Next step is either boost or expensive suspenders. Probably will be better served by boost.

Also, is it just me or are the A052 extremely sensitive to car setup vs other tires (cause - soft sidewall?)? I did my shakedown the day before with the same settings on some ratty pirelli scrubs and the car was a bit loose but not awful, but first session of GTA on the A052 was like wow this car is unstable as hell. I think my initial words to my friend were "the car feels like it's on marshmallows!" Had to back off my aggressive rear bar setting and then it was magic.

PS you guys have to come up here for the Ridge and the vintage Pacific Raceways. Great tracks. ORP is supposed to be a legendary driver's track as well, but it's out in the sticks.

I do not like the way the Yokos drive at all. I find them vague and not very consistent. But while they're cool they seem to work pretty well so I find myself just trying to really get it done lap 1 and not let much slip angle built up.

The Ridge looks amazing, I really want to come up there. I'm bummed that the next Ridge GTA event is the same weekend as GridLife Alpine Horizon... I have a bunch of friends back in Colorado and I really like going back to hang out for that event. The track at PPIR is super lame, though.

No chance of them ever doing an alternative like High Plains or something instead huh?

I wish! I think it's the lack of facilities and the space for all the festival activities.

Yea seems like the light cars can do several hot laps on them. Not our car. I was just doing the 1 and done. I haven't even run more than two laps in a row on them yet haha.

Not likely. The facilities just don't exist at any of the other tracks in CO. HPR is in the middle of nowhere. Pueblo is ghetto and you have to cross the track to get in/out like Hallett.

Utah Motorsports Campus would be an awesome place to do it, aside from the geographical location.

Made the long drive to Oregon Raceway Park for the first time. Wasn’t too concerned with lap times, but it’s an amazing track to have fun on anyways. First vid is of some somewhat clean (questionable) laps in both directions, but they were second session ever on the track in each direction, so I was a bit busy just trying to remember where all of the blind portions of the track lead…

Second vid is some 9X degree afternoon driving on the A052 once they were completely blasted, just having a good time with my friend in the car, and then a couple more laps in both directions and with some student ridealongs.

not the best of laps but it was fun regardless

I think the RS4s with 3 events on their logs is losing its grip. Still wearing like iron..probably grips like iron now.
