Ordered my car last week -- 1 week down, 7 to go? Really hard time waiting, but really excited about getting it. Here's my new baby:

2011 E90 M3
Le Mans Blue
Black Novillo Leather seats
Carbon Leather Trim
Competition Package
Convenience Package
Premium Package 2
Heated Seats
DCT

I think the people at the 800# are getting sick of me calling to see if my car has started/been scheduled for production. I know my wife is already sick of hearing about it!

wait untill it gets closer to delivery. I think it gets harder to wait

. I've been waiting for 2 1/2 months and my car is suppose to arrive next week.

I'm going on 13 weeks since placing my order. Of course, 3 weeks of that was due to August factory shut-down... but still waiting nonetheless. Hopefully picking up my car next week

Word of advice: don't believe anything the tracking 800 number or website say, it will drive you crazy.

What date did you order? We might be on the same ship together. I ordered mine on the 25th of October and have been calling everyday for updates lol... still scheduled for production though... I'm just waiting on to hear them drop a shitload of updates all at once lol

Ordered mine on the 27th! Seems likely our cars will be riding across together. I am hoping that the car will arrive before the end of the year.

Ordered mine back in may. The dealer fuked up and I had to reorder. Still waiting, but she suppose to arrive in 3 more weeks so I am crossing my fingers this time

ordered mine on the 18, if the m3 was built in the states l would probably have my car already as it has finished production, idk but it seems to be going by fast for me, so maybe the final weeks will be the most painful

I ordered in Aug...it was damaged by the company transporting from VPC to dealer...and has been sitting back at the VPC for 3 weeks...with no ETA on when it'll be delivered.

I remember ordering my 3 series in 04, I read on the news that a ship full of bmw's got damaged and quickly checked the ships name. Thank god it was'nt on it. The additional wait time would of killed me.

got to the doc 10/15
loaded and departed on 10/23
Scheduled to dock at Port Hueneme on 11/17

***just got to the Panama Canal today, so 1/2 way there for me....and schedule now says it's docking at Port Hueneme on the 16th, one day ahead of schedule....

I think the last week has been the worst, as none of the vessel tracking sites had any updated info, I just had go by the schedule on WW's website and check around the time the vessel would hit the canal....

Wow, that car is really sharp! I thought hard about the red but in the end I decided to go for just a plain black leather. I'll probably regret the decision but at least I'll regret it while driving around in my M3.
