for East Coast it shd be a vessel every 3-4 days. I am not sure about WC tho.

On their website ** means "Not accepting commercial bookings." Not sure what that means, though.

I think this means you can't call them up and book cargo on this ship as it is already booked. I hope this means that BMW has filled it up. Looks like Courage and Tagus are supposed to arrive on the same day. I like the name Courage more than Tagus, which is a river in Spain. However, any ship that gets the car here safely is fine with me.

do you know the Courage tipped over a couple months ago and messed up lot and lots of BMW's...if there is one ship I don't want my car on its the Courage....

Of course you are correct. I thought it sounded familiar in a bad way. I have to hope that I am close enough to the front to be on the Tagus

That's what I was thinking too. If you look at the shipping company's web-site, every other ship or so says that.

So, production should have been week 14 - that's just last week. Yesterday, the (800) line said it was in the Paint Shop. Today, it says "Your vehicle was released to a carrier and is awaiting transportation to the port of exit". Is that possible with production just LAST WEEK? Seems really quick to pump one of these babies out!

So, about 5 weeks or so to arrive at mid-west dealer (idaho)?

Your lucky, mine was completed this past Saturday and says it's still waiting to be released to carrier.. hopefully tomorrow it will be released.

Once my M3 is done with production this month I think I am going to have it shipped to the east coast like Bruinswick Georgia they have a 4% sales tax

and California has a 8.25% sales tax

I don't feel like 4 weeks after production to get the M3 in California when I could have it in about 2 wks sooner and drive it Back to El Paso, Texas and straight to the BMW dealer for a 1200 mile breakin service because I have to drive about 1,400 mile there from Bruinswick Georgia.

Oh and by the way I have Family in both states

so it won't be a problem to register the Car. I live in Texas and they want 6.25% sales tax.

Same here - production really moves once started. All of the other steps are painfully slow. I've been at the port since April 2.

Yep. There are three ships leaving today, tomorrow and Fri - hopefully I will be on one of them.

There are 4 ships headed towards South Carolina. One leaves on Sunday, the other on Wed of next week (I believe), and both of them (K-Line ships) arrive in South Carolina faster than if I get on a boat on Thur or Monday (WW ships).

Hopefully, I will make one of those four!

Shade, seems like our cars are online together, my car should be finished by tomorrow also...damn hopefully as soon as our cars hit port they'll be ships ready to be loaded and hopefully our cars will get on it, otherwise waiting to 2 weeks sucks

Good luck. The ships I listed are all heading to NY first - the destination for my car.
