Milwaukee peeps

Anyone of you guys attend Lake Mills CC? Seems to be the only worthwhile meet around these parts.

I'm in Milwaukee area. My car is still away for the winter right now. I've had it out at Lake Mills cars and coffee a few times. The guy that organizes that runs an excellent detailing business and I have him detailing my cars.

I actually just moved to Madison from Central Illinois a few years ago and just learned about the Lake Mills Cars and Coffee, one of my friends is good friends with Connor and I am planning on attending a few this year, would be awesome to see a few other M's there!

AM150: We must have missed each other at Lake Mills last year then! I was there a few times but didn't see any other e9x M3, other than Kurt's. And yes, Connor does exceptional work. He paint corrected mine last year and applied cQuartz. I think his reputation is expanding rapidly; getting in contact with him takes a while. Are you planning on attending most of the Lake Mills again this year? Here's mine after Connor's work(a few large updates coming up!)

Yea, definitely. A few more M's to represent would be awesome. I think the first one is in April and I'm definitely attending. Agenda for this year is more track days and more car meets ;p

I was actually not aware of the Lake Mills cars and coffee until a few months ago so I was not there last year but plan to attend a few this year and want to make it out to a few track days including drive for babies this year so hopefully I will see some of you guys out at these events!

Last year was a slow year, I didn't make it to many of them. Hoping to make it to more this year. I'm happy his work is getting noticed... As long as he doesn't put my rates up.

I didn't see your car at any of them last year, it looks distinctive, I would remember that one.

With the nicer weather, we should get together some time. Checking out other M3s is a lot more fun than the typical "car get together"(Lake Mills is a definite exception)

I'm glad I chimed in, I wasn't aware of the Lake Mills CC. I'll be sure to attend, I'm also hoping to hit the track a time or two this summer. I pray that this weather holds.

Think I'm going to fire up my car in the morning and do a good 30 mile wake up call..... Can't take it anymore!

@ IzzyGray - I've connected with him via email, he's a good guy and has been quite helpful. Yea - the car came with a few nice toys. It also has Dinan Stage I along with Dinan lowering springs, short shift kit, and CF rear spoiler, plus some other cosmetic stuff.

Any idea when the first CC is this year at Lake Mills?

Always the first Sunday of the month, April through Oct.

@pullmesideways: That's awesome! Done anything else with it since? Mine was completely stock when I purchased it. Heck, the passenger seat and backseat were never even used. Kinda wished he was more an enthusiast but oh well.

I'm stoked about Lake Mills this year. Some major changes to my car, both powertrain and exterior. Can't wait to show her off ;-)

Silverstone was my first pick... with BBS it's always stellar
