Monterey Car Week 2021

Anyone attending?

There were 3 Jaguar XKE's parked side-by-side in front of the Ragged Point restaurant on California Highway One yesterday. Beautiful cars!

On the way home we spotted dozens and dozens of sports cars, all heading north on highway one. Old Ferrari's, new Ferrari's, all sorts of Corvette's, also new and old. It was fun to watch!

I’m here now. Showing family from Virginia around. Drove to Big Sur, Carmel-By-The-Sea, having lunch at Sticks at Spanish Bay now, and then 17-mile drive before heading back. Would like to attend the Werks Reunion but tight on time.

I would have gone...I went in 2018. However, tomorrow is my mom's birthday, so I am in the middle of prepping a tasting menu & wine pairing for 8 people. I can't very well go have my fun on my mom's 70th birthday weekend. I'd never hear the end of it! LOL

There are a ton of cars I wanted to shoot this year too...ah well

Meanwhile, my 2013 Jag XF keeps overheating… I might roll out of bed and go back to checking fuses… head on over to the jag forums and cry

That's the way to do it for your mother. You only get one. You're lucky to have her. Mine died when I was young and I miss her every day.
