Blocking Satellite Antenna

I am considering taking my E90 M3 sedan on a cross-country roadtrip instead of the e46 wagon. When the rooftop carrier is installed it blocks the roof mounted antenna. Are there any workarounds? It would be impossible to make the trip without Sirius or Nav....

Thanks!
