Still, if you're getting $10K off I would take that deal and run, don't nickle and dime them, you are already getting a silly deal.

I bought my e93 vert from Will and I am very satisfied. His pricing is very good! Easiest transaction I've had buying a car. Most important was the excellent customer service and fast response to my emails.

Thanks Again!

Any better discounts now?

Also, any thoughts on an extension of the .9 percent financing?

Nice, FStop7, post pics when you can.

Will, just curious, how many of the cars on your lot have you been able to move? Is the 0.9% helping out? I know this is a bit of a political question maybe, so I don't expect a detailed response. In fact, I expect you are really making out pretty well from the financing deals and will be happy to give a politically correct update.

Hey Will,

Do you have any 6MT coupes in stock? If so, can you list them here?

so now if you are a buyer, you are faced at a great deal on ZPP car. you want to buy the car, but not necessarily want the ZPP option. car's MSRP is loaded with an expensive option, which jacks up the overal MSRP, but in actuality dealer spent very little money to jack up the MSRP. then they give you a discount on the car and you are thinking you are getting a deal, when in fact you are paying for an option you don't want (this case is flawed if you actually want ZPP), because you are paying MSRP price for that option.

kind of like lo-jack. they install lo-jack for $300, but charge you full price for it. you want the car at a reduced price, but not the option. option is there for dealer to make money on. each option has its corresponding invoice price, just like the car has its invoice price. some options dealer cannot install as they come from factory, but typically ZPP stuff can be ordered from accessories catalog.

now look at the 1st page of this thread and tell me how many cars being discounted have ZPP installed? yep, every single one.

i hope you get it...kind of hard to say it with words.

Malter,
While I am shopping for my 328i recently, the CA told me the same thing.
I know this not because of he told me but common sense.
He was trying to sell me a used 2007 328i coupe.
That's one main reason why all these used car depreciate so much.
The $3.4k MSRP of premium worth almost nothing when become used.
They offered me $32K for it ($45K MSRP)after test drive before I haggle.
Great car like new but sorry no thanks. The car is still there.

Look at the premium option price and what it provide is just ridiculous.
Factory and dealer know they are selling the car you want.
So they put as much profit on it as possible, the premium is a standard
practice. They all do that. It just much worst on luxurious car.
This give them a lot of profit in good time and a lot of room to negotiate
during down turn. It's like .....uh.. .fishing. And they have the right to fish
that big one.
Look at the left over of 2008. Mostly are heavily equipped.
I visited my local dealer numerous time and I know the exact
order of which car get sold the first and which is the second
on all the 328i coupe in their lot. Yeap I am in love with it.
The cheapest first and then .. and so on.
Every single 328i coupe come close to my spec. get sold in a week when
0.9 become available before I made a offer. All these I don't want are still there.

This prove what you said that people don't want these options but
sometime just forced to buy because they want it now.
Of course this does not apply to who want the option at first place
but you sure can get a hefty discount from it.

You hit the nail but not in right place. This is vendor's thread.
You can tell from all the replies. But the force is around you.

I live in San Jose, an expensive place to be.
I thought LA can give me a better deal at first. But after dealing with
more than 10 LA dealers. The best deal come form within 80 miles.
I also tried with few recommended from forum known for great deal but I hate
to say these offer are just taking people's advantage.
Yeap. Nothing came close to my local dealer's offer.

I end up ordered 2009 328i coupe exactly the way I want it.
I don't want list the spec. but I bet you know what it does not have.
I did get the sport package which I really don't want to pay. But it's
a little better than premium in my opinion.
I'd kill myself if I pay for the premium.
it's 2009 and no forced options.
