I paid for all their work but still...
That shows how much value that dealership has. Unbelievable.

Problem solved!
After spending too much money on local BMW, I listed the issue on a facebook page for //M-car owners in norway and got a tip from a aftermarked mechanic that told me to replace both coil and plug at the same time as a broken plug damages the coil and the other way around.
So, changed both plug and coil and problem solved!
If I had posted my problem there earlier, it could save me a lot of money..

I have never seen this as a solution for any misfiring anywhere on the internet so hope this could help many of you with similar problems around.
I told local BMW workshop and they really didn`t know

I would go to back to your local BMW dealer and ask for some refund. If they are not able to diagnose somple problem like this, then they don't deserve to be BMW dealer. I would be super frustrated from this dealership if I were you but again, I wouldn't trust any bmw dealer to work on my car so I will never send my car there for any kind of work

Im going thru the same thing right now. I jlhave a missfire clyinder 7 so I changed all the plugs moved coil to 6 still going into limp mode. Have read codes again when I get my reader back. So what your saying is you have to change plug and coil at same time? I've moved coil from 7 to 6 now if I change coil should I replce the plug again when I outa new coil?

If the plug and coil need replacing together, this is new information. Dealerships and Indy shops routinely swap plugs and coils as a diagnostic method. Have we been playing whack-a-mole?

Savvy technicians have always known that coils and plugs are best replaced together. Coils not igniting a cylinder's mixture can lead to plug fouling. A new coil on a fouled plug will still cause misfires. Additionally, worn plugs increase resistance and can stress the coil. If you have misfire issues and are replacing the coil(s), replace the plug too. It makes no sense not to- the plug cost is minimal and it only takes another 3 minutes as you already have access.
