In my opinion, I love the GT-R's design more than the corvette.

IMO The GTr is a great car just def not a daily driver. the aluminum over the tranny makes the inside get really hot! But its def eating up everything on the roads. Just havent ran into the Z06 yet lol.

Haven't tracked it yet, only 401 miles so far. Plus it voids the warranty according to the waiver you sign.

Are you being serious about it voiding the warranty?

Doesn't the car know you are at a track by gps and removes the speed limiter?

just saw one in the dealership the other day and while I didn't think it looked great in pics, I must say it's stunning in person. Assuming one could actually get one for sticker, the price is good notwithstanding your comments IMO.

I love how each GT-R is different, some engines reportedly get 507 HP! Best of all, it handles really well!

What we need to focus on is that now that the GTR has been bought by customers and tested, the performance numbers aren't matching the hype of the 'prototypes' tested in all the rags. Still a good car. But would take the M3 anyday. Probably pick the Z06 over it too.

Only in Japan. The US cars are not limited.

Near as I can tell, The U.S. spec, U.S. delivered GT-R seems to be about as quick as the early tests made it seem.

The worst-case example is the sick one that Car & Driver tested (plus one with the sniffles, apparently), but follow-ups have led to a couple of articles about production U.S. spec GT-Rs being underrated, horsepower-wise.

The norm seems to be quarter miles in the 11.6 - 11.8 area, with trap speeds near or at 120 mph.
